Governor Fletcher will be in Cumberland County tomorrow, March 23, 2007, distributing emergency alert weather radios to residents and businesses.
The radios are a part of the Safety Project upgrades provided to the people living below Wolf Creek Dam.
The upgrades come after Wolf Creek Dam was classified as high risk for structural failure earlier this year.
The Army Corps of Engineers has lowered Lake Cumberland 30 feet to work on the dam.
The distribution will take place at the Burkesville Veterans Memorial Community Center from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, March 24, 2007.
Residents should get a card in the mail providing them with distribution information. Residents in Clinton, Monroe and Russell Counties will also be provided weather radios.
