Kentucky State Police said no foul play is suspected in connection with a woman found injured on March 26, 2007, in Grayson county. Terri Fritts, 48, of Harrisburg, Ill., suffered from knife wounds and was flown to the University of Louisville hospital for treatment.
Police said a boater Fritts floating in the water beneath the Iberia bridge around 4 p.m. on March 26, 2007. He pulled her into his boat and took her to Twin Coves Boat Dock where he called police.
"When we located her she had some cuts on her body and we found an abandoned car here on the bridge, and it's still under investigation," said Sgt. Courtney Longacre of the Kentucky State Police.
Police also said Fritt's vehicle was found locked and abandoned on the bridge. Fritt's originally told police her boyfriend cut her and threw her over the bridge, but police now say that no foul play is suspected.
Fritt's injuries are not life threatening.
