Franklin Woman Indicted in Husband's Death

Police arrest a Franklin woman in the shooting death of her husband.

Franklin Police Lt. Art McFadden said 58-year-old Deloise Lockhart was indicted by the Simpson County Grand Jury on March 26, 2007, and arrested.

She's charged with murdering her husband 48-year-old Robert "Spanky" Partinger on March 17, 2007.

Simpson County Coroner Gary Crafton said Partinger was shot once in the face with a .357 Magnum at his home at 607 Brevard Street.

Lockhart is also charged with evidence tampering, being a persistent felony offender and being a convicted felon possessing a handgun.
