Authorities are searching for a Park City man who's being called one of the area's "most wanted."
In a joint investigation, the Barren County Sheriff's Department and Barren County Drug Task Force are looking for 53-year-old Gene Johnson.
Johnson allegedly fled his home on Indian Mill Road Thursday morning after authorities attempted to arrest him on a number of drug charges.
Officials worked well into the evening after a search warrant of Johnson's residence revealed meth paraphernalia and other drugs, a number of dead animals and stolen property.
The sheriff's department says Johnson is considered dangerous and could be armed.
"We've had numerous complaints over the years of him having weapons when he's on the run and anyone who comes in contact with him should proceed with caution and notify local law enforcement immediately," said Sheriff Chris Eaton.
Law enforcement destroyed two anhydrous ammonia tanks found on Johnson's property Thursday evening.
29-year-old Eric Sturgeon and 31-year-old James Skaggs III were also arrested at Johnson's residence on a number of charges including fleeing police and terroristic threatening.
