Another Franklin woman is accused of stealing nearly a $100,000 from a non-profit agency. Franklin police say Sheri Cleveland was arrested at her home on Tuesday, March 27, 2007.
Cleveland is a former part-time bookkeeper at Portland Cares an agency in Portland, Tenn., that helps people in need.
Cleveland is facing 155 felony counts of forgery and theft. She’s accused of stealing more than $95,000 from the agency.
Cleveland formerly owned the Townhouse restaurant and the Our Place restaurant in Franklin.
She’s being held on a $100,000 cash bond.
