State lawmakers are expected to be working into the long hours of the night before the General Assembly takes a two-week recess. Earlier today, the Senate passed their version of the budget, and now the House is meeting looking through that version.

State lawmakers say the key item that could cause delay in the passing of the budget is Fletcher's tax reform plan. The Senate supported the plan in their version, but the House may not.

Besides the tax reform plan, another key item in the Senate version includes the funding for a training center at Magna International. The Senate budget funds the center this year, while the House version would delay the funding until next year.
