Senator Bunning also presented another check for $400,000. The second goes to the Bowling Green Warren County Primary Care Center. They are a non-profit community health center. The mission of the Primary Care Center is to care for Medicaid and uninsured residents of Warren, Butler, and Edmonson counties.

Chris Keyser is the director of the facility. She says, "This money is going to help us begin the phase of construction of a new facility, Primary Care Center. The $400,000 will primarily be used for architectural design development and site development of the land. We have purchased property, so we are right on track with our plan to build a new freestanding facility."

Right now the Primary Care Center is housed in the same building as the health department.
