"I have some asthma and I felt like maybe I needed one."

Sharon Woodward and her husband Perry are one of hundreds that turned out in long lines this afternoon at the Allen County Health Department in search of the H1N1 vaccine.

"I used to have colds all the time, but since I started taking the regular shot, I don't have them in the winter time anymore."

While the line in front of the building continued to extend well into the parking lot, another line had formed around back for expecting mothers.

"The process was really easy. I think I waited less-than 10-minutes. They got me right in," says mother-to-be Ellie Adams.

At the conclusion of what is hoped to be many H1N1 Clinics to come, school and health officials are working together, planning the next phase of inoculations.

"If we can do anything in conjunction with the Allen County Health Department in offering immunizations in a more-convenient manner to our parents and guardians, we're willing to try," says Allen County Schools Superintendent Randall Jackson.

"We've been in talks with the superintendent and as our supply increase, we've got that planned," adds Donnie Fitzpatrick with the health department.

The next H1N1 Clinic will take place from 2 PM-5 PM this Friday, at the Baptist Church in Scottsville.
