They were gunned down by an Afghan policeman who the Taliban says was one of their agents in disguise.
The attack underscores the challenge facing President Hamid Karzai; widespread corruption in the government, and a relentless insurgency that is infiltrating his own forces.
Just how much Mr. Karzai can handle, is exactly what President Obama is considering, as he debates whether to send more U.S. troops to war.
