I had a company change my due date to three days earlier, then when I paid my bills on the last day of the month, I discovered that my credit card bill was already past due and they had already jacked up my rate.

Its a little late for that I think. The credit card companies are way ahead of you. They already raised the interest rates on my 2 cards to the limit it would have been if you were late on your payments. They did that months ago. So what good is it now if the rates already went up?What they should have done was to freeze them from raising the rates until NOW.
