Jury selection has also begun in Tennessee for the murder trial of Mary Winkler. Winkler is charged with first degree murder in the deadly shooting of her preacher husband, Matthew Winkler.
About 160 potential jurors crowded into a small courtroom this morning, Monday, April 9, 2007.
As selection of the jury began, the judge kept reporters out of the courtroom because of limited space.
The trial could last several weeks.
If convicted as charged, Winkler would be sentenced to life in prison with possible parole after 51 years.
