Carhartt to Close in Glasgow

Today Carhartt, a global manufacturer of premium work wear, announced the closing of its Glasgow facilities, forcing about 100 people out of work.
The facilities will cease operation some time in mid-March.
Carhartt built a cutting and distribution facility in Glasgow in 1993. They built a second facility on the property in 1995.
The Glasgow sewing facility was purchased in 1993. It became a sortation facility in 2006.
