Police recover the get-away truck used in a Bowling Green bank robbery.

Officers say two white men robbed South Central bank on U.S. 31-W in Bowling Green, around 12:45 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Witnesses say the two were armed and wore masks of Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan. They got away with an undisclosed amount of money, but as they were leaving the parking lot in a white truck they hit a yellow concrete post.

Police believe they now have the white Nissan Frontier used in the robbery. It has a damaged rear bumper with yellow paint on it.

They found it parked behind Houchens at Cabell and the bypass, following a tip from Derrick Dennis, who said he heard about the truck on our Friday night newscast.

It was reported stolen out of Tennessee.
