An investigation continues following an afternoon shooting Sunday at The Registry apartment complex.
Police say a man who lived there was shot in the foot following a fight in the apartment parking lot.
Monday, detectives were back on the scene looking for possible witnesses.
We now know that man shot to be 21-year-old Tony Trumbo.
Police say a 17-year-old boy has been arrested for having a stolen gun.
They say he wasn't the shooter, but they're having a tough time finding out who exactly was.
"Me and my girlfriend went to McDonald's and by the time we got back, cops were just swarming the place trying to find out what happened," said Jonathan McGuire, a witness to the incident Sunday.
That was the scene at The Registry Sunday -- police looking for clues, witnesses uneasy about what had happened.
"I opened up the car door and I heard about 6 or 8 gunshots go off," McGuire said.
Monday, police were back on the scene but with growing frustrations.
"We're not getting the cooperation that we would like to get in an investigation like this," said Officer Barry Pruitt, with the Bowling Green Police Dept.
Officer Pruitt says those involved in the incident are remaining tight-lipped about what may've happened or who may've done it.
"We realize that there's some people who know more than what they're talking about with this case, and understandably so because maybe it's because they're concerned about their safety," he said.
Sunday's shooting is the second time in less than three months shots have been reported fired at The Registry.
In August, police responded to the apartment complex and say while the two shootings aren't connected, they are similar.
"There's an altercation that actually happened off-site at a party or some other type of event and then spilled over back here to the residential area," Officer Pruitt said.
Pruitt says the August incident has prompted both weekly meetings between police and apartment officials, and increased patrols.
"We actually have an officer who lives in this complex and is assigned with some duties here," he said.
They're all efforts done with hopes of keeping scenes like Sunday's from happening again.
If you have any information about what happened at The Registry you can call police.
Todd Elsass, The Registry's regional supervisor, declined to speak to us about the investigation.
