A Hart County woman's home is burglarized, and it's all part of an apparent scamming plot that's hit a number of neighborhoods.

According to police, two men are going door-to-door looking for work and they've got the elderly in mind.

Munfordville Police say they do have a couple of suspects and they think they know of an area that they may be in.

Authorities say calls are coming in across Hart County and even in Larue County about a couple of guys looking to make some quick cash.

"I'm a good driver. Everybody says I'm a good driver."

92-year-old Nancy Snider will tell you, she has a passion for the open road.

"I love a car. I like to drive a car," the Munfordville resident said.

So when a shiny, white Ford pickup pulled into her driveway late last week, it immediately caught her eye.

"It was a really beautiful truck," she said

She says two men got out of the truck and came to her door.

"He was a big man, and this other guy was small."

According to Nancy, the two said they were performing odd jobs and wanted to give her a hand.

"I said, 'What are you going to do? He said, 'I'm going to make your driveway look better.'"

So the two went to work.

One claiming to blacktop her driveway, the other was laying out the paperwork inside.

"He took every penny I had, and I did not know it until after he was gone," Snider said.

$700 is what one of the men stole from her wallet.

And in an instant, both of the men were gone.

"I can't imagine anybody doing anything that fast and quick."

Police say Nancy isn't alone.

Three different streets have been targeted with the men looking for roofing work or a gutter to clean.

Today Nancy says she isn't hoping for a sealed driveway or even her $700 back.

She's only hoping for one thing.

"I hope they're caught, that's what I hope."

Police ask you to be on the lookout for a white Ford F-150 pickup with a spray tank on the back.

The name "Boswell" also appears in the rear window of the truck.

If you have any information you can call police at 524-5359.
