We continue with our closer look at each of the four finalists for Warren County Schools Superintendent.

We've already told you about the first two candidates, D. Wade Stanfield, an educator from Harrodsburg, and Owens Saylor is an educator from Nicholasville.

On Tuesday we spoke to Dennis Dearden of Oro Valley, Arizona.

Dearden has taught for 20-years, has experience as a middle and high school principal, assistant superintendent in Fairfax, Virginia, and superintendent in Arizona.

He says he's impressed with Warren County Schools and would like the opportunity to lead the district.

"What I think I bring is a very passionate experience level that can get them to great and that's what I'm focused on. I'm focused on bringing a level of experience, teaching people to be leaders," said Dearden.

Dearden says he's here for the kids but he would also focus on good customer service internally and externally as well as teaching educators how to think outside the box.
