Sheriff's Deputies Arrested on Drug Charges
Two Washington County sheriff's deputies were arrested after an operation led by the Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Special Investigations.

Two Washington County sheriff's deputies were arrested after an operation led by the Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Special Investigations.
Yesterday, units conducted the covert drug trafficking operation involving the deputies.
Deputy Wayne Bartley, a six year veteran of the Washington County Sheriff's Department, and Deputy Billy Mattingly, a three year veteran of the department, were both arrested.
They were charged with official misconduct, marijuana trafficking, theft, tampering with physical evidence and criminal mischief.
Both men were lodged in the Marion County Detention Center.
