LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Louisville Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell said two bodies were found at a house where four people had been shot initially today.

As police were investigating, onlookers and reporters dove for cover when several shots rang out.

Police say two women got into an argument near the shooting site and that one fired on the other, killing her. Police said the shooter was then injured by police gunfire.

After the shots rang out, police ran down the street, and one officer took a shotgun from his car and ran behind a house, where police had been investigating. Two people were placed in handcuffs.

Mitchell said two others wounded in the shooting are at a hospital, one in critical condition.
