Our series of sit-downs with the four Warren County school superintendent finalists ends tonight with Tim Murley of Bowling Green.

Murley currently serves as the interim superintendent for Warren County Public Schools.

The former principal of North Warren Elementary, Murley has also served in a number of roles for our school district.

He tells WBKO he would prepare students for college to compete in the global society, and there is no other job he would rather have.

"I have actually passed up the opportunity to apply for other superintendent jobs," he says.

"I want to be the superintendent of warren county schools. I've been here my entire career, it's a great school system and I can lead it to be a even greater school system."

The other three finalists are D. Wade Stanfield of Harrodsburg, Owens Saylor of Nicholasville and Dennis Dearden, of Oro Valley, Arizona.

Warren County Public Schools will name their choice later this month.

We thank them and wish them all good luck.
