Fans of University of Kentucky sports will have a new gadget to stay connected to their favorite teams.
UK's athletics program is signing up fans for Wildcats Alerts, a text-messaging system that offers updates and scores for UK teams.
The service is free and provided by Kansas City-based Mobile Media Technologies LLC.
The service will give scores throughout each game and present stats of Kentucky players.
Fans can sign up for Wildcats Alerts at www.ukathletics.com
