The second H1N1 related death has been reported in south central Kentucky but it's the first for the Barren River District Health Department.
On Friday, officials said a Logan County man died from the H1N1 influenza.
The victim was a male in his 50's with underlying medical conditions.
This comes as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports the number of H1N1 cases is down.
On Thursday, an 18-year-old Allen County girl was the first H1N1 death reported in south central Kentucky.
