The state's jobless rate reaches 11.2% in October despite signs the economy is improving.

The state's jobless rate reaches 11.2% in October despite signs the economy is improving.
The services sector lost 2,200 jobs and manufacturing lost2,000.
The October rates are up from September's 10.9% despite gains in non-farm employment, professional and business services, and government sectors.
