One day after the deadly Virginia Tech shooting jitters continue to be felt at universities across the nation.
In Austin, Texas, authorities evacuated buildings at Saint Edward's University after a threatening note was found. Police secured the perimeter around campus and searched the buildings. Classes were canceled for the day even thought the threat turned out to be nothing.
Also, three campus administration buildings at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga were evacuated after a threatening phone call.
A third scare at the University of Oklahoma was also unfounded.
Officials said it started with a report of man carrying a suspicious object. The object turned out to be an umbrella.
