An accident in Butler County leaves one dead and another in the hospital.
The accident occurred on Ky. 70 on April 19, 2007. State Police said 37-year-old Jeffrey Kitchens of Morgantown, Ky., was traveling westbound on Ky. 70 when he crossed the center line hitting 79-year-old Irene Proctor's vehicle.
Proctor was pronounced dead at the scene. Kitchens was life flighted to Vanderbilt Hospital.
Kitchens wife contacted WBKO and said that he is doing very well. She also said he has a broken hand, three broken bones in his foot, a concussion, staples in his head and various other small injuries but is doing very well.
