Mini-Corvettes rev up their engines

Lots of folks will try to become heroes on April 21, 2007, in the annual Junior Achievement Mini-Corvette Challenge.

Race officials were out preparing the track for all of tomorrow’s qualifying and championship races.

Drivers will start revving their engines at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow morning in the Sears parking lot at Greenwood Mall.

Twenty-eight corporate teams are going to compete for the Gold Cup, but before they can their race cars were impounded for the day, locked up so no one could tinker with their car to get an unfair advantage.

Our own Brandon Lokits will be leading the WBKO team in a new Adventure in Kentucky.
