Some children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are smiling a little brighter this weekend.
More than two carloads of gifts were dropped off on Friday to the children at the Target House in Memphis, Tennessee.
Those at the Target House were more than thankful for the gifts community members in South Central Kentucky sent them.
"I was very overwhelmed by the enormity of things that we have. I think we're gonna be stocked for about a year", said the House Manager of Target House, Karri Morgan.
The Target House is a home away from home for long-term patients of St. Jude Hospital.
It provides a free place for these patients to stay while at St. Jude.
"It's important Target House receive donations because our money is reserved for finding cures and saving children, so it's nice to be able to have toys and cleaning products to help relieve our financial aspect so we can focus more money on helping the children of St. Jude", says Karri Morgan.
The donations the children received were from a toy drive sponsored by WBKO, Forever Communications and 96.7 The Beaver, and Gary Force Honda.
