The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet dedicates a bridge in Metcalfe County in honor of Thomas Emberton.
Emberton’s resume is fairly impressive. He is a Western Kentucky University graduate, has served in the Air Force, served as a member of the public service commission, ran for governor of Kentucky and served on the Kentucky Court of Appeals for 27 years until his 2004 retirement.
The bridge, now in his name, covers Clay Lick Creek on U.S. 68.
