A western Kentucky charity that sends care packages to soldiers overseas is running into a popularity problem.
When the Hugs Project started it was sending only a handful of packages to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Now the charity is stocking 1,000 boxes that must go out by the end of Thanksgiving week.
The overwhelming response has volunteers wondering, how to get the care packages out, the packages could cost up to $11,000 to send and the organization is hoping donations come in soon.
If you'd like to help the Hugs Project of Western Kentucky their address is: 4931 Epperson Road
Paducah, KY 42001
