Mixed Results in Russell County Wet/Dry Vote
Voters made their voices heard in a wet-dry vote in Russell County Tuesday. But even though the results are in, the future of alcohol sales there is still in question.

Voters made their voices heard in a wet-dry vote in Russell County Tuesday. But even though the results are in, the future of alcohol sales there is still in question.
According to The Russell Register, although residents voted not to allow legal limited sales of alcohol within the city of Jamestown, voters did say those alcohol sales could take place in the Jamestown and Lake precincts, which encompass the city the Jamestown.
Obviously, that is an issue government officials will now need to sort out.
The official tally was:
Jamestown: 243 for, 274 against
Jamestown Precinct: 227 for, 215 against
Lake Precinct: 242 for, 203 against
