Semi collapses house

A Kentucky homeowner needs a new place to live after a semi plowed into his house on May 2, 2007.

Ed Mullins wasn't home at the time, but his wife was in the living room and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment of a minor injury. The accident happened just north of London, Ky., along I-75.

According to police, the driver was heading southbound when the truck blew a tire. The driver lost control, flew off the interstate, and slammed into Mullins' home. More than half of the house collapsed, but the driver walked away uninjured.
