Baghdad claims the life of another Kentucky soldier

The war in Iraq has taken the life of another Kentucky soldier.

The Department of Defense said that Staff Sgt. Christopher Hamlin of London, Ky., was killed on May 4, 2007. He sustained injuries when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle close to Baghdad.

Governor Ernie Fletcher has ordered all state buildings to fly their flags at half-staff till sunset on the day of Hamlin's funeral.
