Nash Surgery Covered

The parents of three-year-old Presley Nash are trying to schedule a life-saving surgery for their daughter after the insurance said it will cover it.

Slim and Staci Nash filed suit against Staci's employer, Western Kentucky University, after coverage was denied. Western released a statement Wednesday saying coverage was now approved.

The Nash's attorney said they are sorry it took a lawsuit to prompt the coverage but are thrilled that Western is doing the right thing.

Money raised in an account for Presley at South Central Bank will be used for her ongoing medical bills.
