The Friends of Nashville Road file an injunction against a lawsuit that would bring the argument over adding a subdivision to 711 Newman Way back to the table.
The non-profit group filed the request earlier this week in hopes of stopping a lawsuit by Robert Williams. Williams is currently suing the city-county and planning commission of Warren County and the Bowling Green City Commission to make a decisive vote.
This after there was no action taken by the planning commission during its March 16, 2007, meeting in regards to a motion to approve the proposed subdivision.
"The city-planning commission in three separate meetings failed to act, and our position is they had 90 days to do so and we're asking the judge to make a ruling that our application is an appropriate one," said David Broderick, William's attorney.
Broderick told WBKO he expects Judge Steve Wilson to rule on the case within the next three months.
