ABC News Employees Killed in Iraq

Two Iraqi employees of ABC news have been killed in an ambush.

They were a cameraman and soundman for the organization. The two were abducted on their way home from work at ABC’s Baghdad Bureau.

It is unknown who’s responsible for the killings.

Based on figures compiled by the Committee to Protect Journalist, at least 143 journalists and media support people have been killed since the U.S. invasion.

Another 48 have been abducted.
