A main gas line rupture causes a traffic nightmare for morning commuters.
Bowling Green Police say the rupture happened due to utility construction near the intersection of Nashville Road and Campbell Lane.
The break happened just after 8 a.m. and traffic was blocked while repairs were made.
Some of the businesses in the immediate area were evacuated briefly, but were allowed to return when officials determined there was no gas in their buildings.
Traffic was re-opened after about 30 minutes.
