The City of Bowling Green is asking that we "Keep It Clean." It's part of a new campaign aimed to stop pollution in our waterways.
Several ads are running reminding people not to pollute our waterways with careless littering. The project tells us that when it rains storm waters pick us debris and other pollution. That pollution is then carried into our caves and eventually our waterways.
Some of the ways to "Keep It Clean," according to the Environmental Protection Agency, include putting litter in its place, checking your car for leaks, and not dumping anything down storm drains. For more information log on to www.bgky.org.
