While shoppers may experience long lines and low prices on Black Friday, store employees have to put in a lot of hard work to make the day happen.
Many stores up the number of employees who work on this day that officially kicks off the holiday shopping season.
Places like Best Buy have more than 100 employees working throughout the day.
We spoke with them Friday morning right before their doors opened at five.
"A little nervousness," said Keaton Reeves, Home Life Supervisor at Best Buy. "A little anxiousness. You know, we're excited. We're ready to go. Obviously there's a huge line out there right now, so we're just looking at getting them in and getting them going. Pretty excited."
Reeves also says they passed out tickets for many of their advertised items, as many stores do, which helped to cut down on many hectic problems once the doors opened.
