A 28-year-old Kentucky man has been charged with murder in the death of a 16-month-old boy.
Authorities said Clarence Mullins of Laurel County was allegedly watching Bradden Collopy, while the toddler's mother was away. Authorities received a call May 22, 2007, the toddler had fallen from his crib, but soon discovered that was unlikely, due to the severity of the child's head injury.
The toddler died at University of Kentucky hospital a short time later. Police said Mullins had only been dating Bradden's mother for two weeks.
