Flags Flown at Half-Staff on Memorial Day

Governor Fletcher directs all flags to be flown at half-staff on Memorial Day. The order follows a national directive from President Bush.

Flags are to be lowered on Monday morning and remain there until noon.

The presidents’ directive also designates 11 a.m. as a time to unite in prayer.

A national moment of remembrance will be observed at 3 p.m.
