Funeral arrangements are now complete for a Todd County boy. The second grader died in a terrible accident outside of Elkton.
Eight-year-old Collin Jessie of Elkton was driving his A.T.V. along Kentucky 107 around 5:30 Tuesday afternoon. Police say he pulled into the path of an on-coming vehicle. He died last night at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
The accident happened two miles north of Kirkmansville. Jessie's A.T.V. collided with a 1999 Chevy Blazer driven by 27-year-old Bridget Robinson of Lewisburg. Robinson was wearing a seatbelt and escaped injury. Officers say Jessie was not wearing a helmet.
His funeral is set for 1 p.m. Friday at the New Harmony Baptist Church. Visitation is Thursday at 3:30 at the Latham Funeral Home.
