The man known as Dr. Death is a free man on June 1, 2007.
Jack Kevorkian was released from prison in Michigan. He served eight years on a second-degree murder charge for helping a man with Lou Gehrig’s disease commit suicide.
Kevorkian has said he helped at least 130 people die from 1990 to 1998.
He now promises he’ll never help another person kill themselves, but he’ll work to have assisted suicide legalized.
