Murray radio station, WKMS reports that the Murray Middle School P.E. teacher fired for trying to buy marijuana will get her job back, but not for two years.
A Kentucky Department of Education tribunal ruled Ann Greenfield must undergo drug treatment, and if she successfully passes four random drug screenings during the suspension period. She will be allowed to return to the classroom in fall of 2009, if she meets those conditions.
The case received national media attention because Greenfield accidentally text messaged a Kentucky State Trooper instead of her drug dealer.
