A former White House aide will go before a federal judge in Washington D.C. To be sentenced for his role in the CIA leak trial.
Lewis “Scooter” Libby was convicted of lying about discussing the identity of a CIA operative with reporters.
He hasn’t spoken about the case since he was indicted in 2005.
Libby, who maintains his innocence, is challenging his conviction.
If the judge does send Libby to prison, he’ll have to decide whether to put the sentence on hold while an appeal plays out.
