A Federal Grand Jury returns an indictment on a Burkesville dentist.
Doctor Mary Todd Stephenson faces charges of illegally distributing painkillers without any medical purpose.
The indictment lists two times when Doctor Stephenson allegedly prescribed hydrocodone or lorcet without reason.
If convicted, Stephenson faces a maximum fifteen year sentence, a $750,000 dollar fine and a three year term of supervised release.
She could also lose her share in the dental office where she practices.
Stephenson is scheduled for arraignment on June 20th in Bowling Green.
