Eight years after the submarine rides at Disneyland ended - they’re back.
At noon on June 11, 2007, Disneyland formally opens the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage in Anaheim, Calif.
The ride includes the original subs that run on an underwater track.
Older Disneyland patrons will remember the Submarine Voyage, which ran in the Tomorrowland portion of the famous theme park from 1959 until 1998.
The new attraction, which costs a reported $100 million to renovate, takes you underwater to the theme of the Disney-Pixar hit Finding Nemo.
The ride has talking clown fish, jellyfish and even a trip into the mouth of a whale.
Park officials said Disneyland will stay open an extra two-and-a-half- hours all summer long to make sure everyone who wants to, can go on the ride.
