President Bush wraps up his European trip by thanking the people of Bulgaria for supporting the war in Iraq.
Originally the country contributed combat troops to the war, but later pulled them out. After pulling their troops out, they provided peace keeping forces in the region.
The president and the first lady wrapped up their visit in Bulgaria on June 11, 2007.
During the visit Bulgaria’s president announced Bulgarian and U.S. relations are in their best state in more than 100 years.
