The Warren County Public Library closes the book on its 2nd "Food for Fines Donation Drive" calling it a huge success.
To help raise food for the needy the library accepted non-perishable food donations in lieu of late fees on books and other library items.
In doing so the library collected more than 13 grocery carts of food. But generous patrons donated goods simply to help out. All the food is being donated to the Salvation Army.
The library also collected its biggest amount of winter wear ever for its mitten drive. These items will all go to Barren River Area Safe Space.
