While Friday may be Christmas and most people will spend away from work... not everyone will.
Shoney's Restaurant is one of several businesses that will be open in Bowling Green on Christmas Day.
Nearly 20 people will work at the eatery from 7am Christmas morning to the early afternoon.
Although this is his first time, Assistant Manager Jason Devers says working the Christmas holiday won't be so bad.
However, he does expect a lot of business from those who live near and far.
"I think it'll be a little bit of both. It may be some travelers but there's a lot of local people that may not have family or that don't want to cook. That just want to come in and get something to eat and go home and relax," notes Devers.
Devers expects the biggest crowd to come in during the early part of the morning.
In addition to restaurants like "Shoney's" some gas stations and stores will still be open for a few hours on Christmas Day.
