Houchens Parents of First 2010 Baby Born in BG
At 9:34 this morning, those at The Medical Center welcomed the first baby of 2010 into the world. Tara and Chuck Houchens are now the proud parents of a 9-lb, 8-oz. baby girl named Haley Nicole.

At 9:34 this morning, those at The Medical Center welcomed the first baby of 2010 into the world.
Tara and Chuck Houchens are now the proud parents of a 9-lb, 8-oz. baby girl named Haley Nicole.
Big brother, Jay, seemed excited about his new little sister, as family came in to visit the baby girl.
"I thought there's no way because with her being born at 9:34, I thought there's no way that we'd be the first baby of the new year," said Tara. "I thought we would come here and somebody else would be the first baby."
The Houchens didn't even get to the hospital until about five this morning, but luckily it wasn't too late.
They received a diaper bag full of goodies from the hospital for being the first of 2010.
