Central Kentucky Judge-Executive Out on Bond After Arrest

A Madison County judge-executive is arrested at the Russell County fair over the weekend.

Judge-Executive Kent Clark was arrested at the Russell County fair in Russell Springs.

Clark is charged with drinking in public, alcohol intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Russell Springs Police Chief Joe Michael Irvin said there had been some complaints concerning Clark’s behavior and the fact he had a beer can in his hand.

Irvin said Russell Springs is dry territory.
Irvin said a police officer approached Clark and asked him to pour the beer out and instead he consumed the rest of it.

Madison County records show Clark had been arrested on alcohol-related offenses two other times.

Clark is free on bond pending a court appearance to face charges filed against him on June 16, 2007.
